Pranab Saikia

Pranab hails from Guwahati, Assam, a vibrant state in India, known for its rich cultural heritage and picturesque landscapes. For the past 18 years, Pranab has made Sydney, Australia, his home, where he lives with his wife, Gitanjali, and their two children, Neev and Nyra. In Sydney, Pranab has established a successful career in the field of Information Technology, working as a solution architect for Telstra.Beyond his professional life, Pranab is deeply committed to preserving and promoting Assamese culture within the diaspora. He has been actively involved in organizing and participating in Assamese cultural events in New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) for the last 18 years. Moreover, Pranab is also the percussionist of Jontroz, the only Assamese band in the community in NSW. Through music, he connects with his roots and shares the vibrancy of Assamese culture with a broader audience.
