Snigdha Choudhury (Luki)

Snigdha migrated to Australia in 1994 with her husband and two children. She brings in her experience in the community services sector both as a multicultural project officer and an administrator. She has been involved with the Assamese community in Australia and its endeavour to showcase its rich cultural heritage among the wider community. In 1999, she was a part of the small group of people initiating the process to start celebrating Rongali Bihu as a community in Sydney and since then, actively participated in Rongali Bihu celebrations without missing a single year till date. She also has been involved with bringing out Gogona, the Assamese Community Magazine which is published annually on the Rongali Bihu Xondhiya since its inception in 2010.
